Wenche Kjølås | Chair of the Board
Wenche Kjølås has held the position of CEO in Grieg Maturitas AS since 2009, and since June 2019 is Group CFO, taking on more external NED roles. Her previous position was CFO of Grieg Logistics AS for three years. Other past experience includes CFO, Kavli Holding AS; CEO, O. Kavli AS; Business Manager, Hakon Group AS, Bergen; and Manager and management consultant of Touche Ross. Ms. Kjølås has been board member and member of audit committees of PGS ASA, Cermaq ASA, Selvaag Bolig ASA and DOF ASA. She was Chair of Flytoget until 2017, as well as a member of the general assembly of Sparebankstiftelsen DnBNor and Chair of Keolis Norge. She has been a member of the board of Grieg Seafood ASA and chaired the audit committee from May 2009 until June 2019. She has also chaired the DOF AC committee. She holds a MBA degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen.
Angela Durkin | Board Member
Angela Durkin has more 24 years of experience from the Oil Field service and Drilling Contractor Industry. She currently holds a position as Senior Vice President and COO at Maersk Drilling, taking charge of all global rig operations including drillships, semi-submersibles and jack-up rigs located around the world. Prior to Maersk Drilling, Mrs. Durkin worked at Baker Hughes where she held various international positions in drilling, operations and sales including Business Development Manager, Managing Director Continental Europe, and Vice President for Operations and Technical Support. Her last role at Baker Hughes was Corporate Vice President for Health, Safety and Environment. Mrs. Durkin holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University in Braunschweig, Germany.
Luis Araujo | Board Member
Luis Araujo has held the position of CEO at Aker Solutions since 2014, an organization he joined in 2011 as President of the company’s Brazilian operations. Mr. Araujo has more than 35 years experience in the oil and gas industry, including senior positions at GE, Wellstream, ABB and FMC Technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Gama Filho University in Brazil and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
Anthony J. Dowd | Board Member
Anthony J. Dowd is President and CEO of Fairfield-Maxwell LTD, a position he has held since January 2017, and serves on its Board of Directors. Mr. Dowd is also a Trustee of the Financial Accounting Foundation, where he currently Chairs the Appointments Committee. Prior to joining Fairfield, Mr. Dowd had more than 25 years experience in private equity, including serving as the Managing Partner of Charter Oak Capital Partners and as an Operating Partner at Mill Point Capital. He has served on the boards of directors of numerous private and public companies, including Hostess Brands, Inc. where he Chaired the both the Compensation Committee and the Transaction (Strategy) Committee. Mr. Dowd served for nine years on the Board of Future Pipe Industries in Dubai, the global leader in fiberglass pipe systems, where he Chaired FPI Americas and was a member of the Audit and Risk Committee. During the Financial Crisis, he was the Chief of Staff for Paul Volcker, the Chairman of the President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board. Mr. Dowd is a former U.S. Army Officer, having served in the First Cavalry Division as a Platoon Leader and Company Commander. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Jan B. Gateman | Board Member
Jan Gateman is one of the Co-Founders of Magseis Fairfield. He has 30 years seismic industry experience, particularly within the Multi Client seismic business segment, and has held various senior management positions with Geco-Prakla, Nopec, CGG, GeoInnova, Inseis and Wavefield Inseis. Mr. Gateman has contributed heavily to the development of the Multi Client 3D seismic industry in North West Europe, and is a founding member of GeoInnova and InSeis. He holds a Master of Science degree in Marine Geology.
Sigmund Gundersen | Employee Representative
Sigmund Gundersen, Navigation Manager for Magseis Fairfield, has more than 11 years of experience in the seismic industry, including offshore, navigation and survey. His previous roles include project management and line management in iSurvey, where he also served as a member of the board. He has served as Head of Projects for Pemco Energi and has management experience from Infratek, Siemens and Ably serving the oil and gas, railroad and energy sectors. Mr. Gundersen holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Høgskolen in Oslo, Norway.
Janie Garcia | Employee Representative
Janie Garcia is Manager of the Onboard Processing department for Magseis Fairfield, where she has more than 12 years of experience. She joined the industry as Land and Marine processor, later transitioning to the offshore processing department, bringing with her expertise in down-stream processing. She has participated in offshore 3D and 4D node surveys from West Africa, Brazil, Qatar, the North Sea, and Gulf of Mexico. Ms. Garcia aided in the processing and development of training and workflows for node systems. Ms. Garcia holds a Master’s degree in Geophysics from Rice University in Houston, Texas, U.S.A.
